It is Bolt’s goal to provide transportation to all. Bolt Forward is our equity transportation program specifically designed to aid persons from underserved areas as well as military personnel. Through Bolt Forward, residents are able to afford our service based on their earned income or military status.
To achieve this, Bolt will pay it forward. Bolt will offer 50%* off to persons who qualify for our discount program. If you served in the military or are trying to make ends meet, contact us to see if you qualify. It starts with one ride at a time.

No Smartphone? No Problem!

You can start the service by calling us at 866.BOLT.143 The customer service representative will set you up with an account and provide you with your account number. You can then:
Bolt users who do not have a credit card or bank account can contact the company to create their account. Once the user’s account is created, the user can call our customer service team at 866.BOLT.143 and make the necessary and appropriate financial arrangements. If all else fails, by calling our customer service team, a user can also request a Bolt Booster come to their location to pick up cash payment for a specific ride.The bottom line is that if you want/need to ride a Bolt scooter but have limited resources, we can help!

*Washington DC riders who qualify for Bolt Forward will receive unlimited 30 minute rides per month.
